x_1=\frac{a+b}{2}+\sqrt{\frac{a^2+2ab+b^2-4ab}{4}}

x_1=\frac{a+b}{2}+\sqrt{\frac{a^2-2ab+b^2}{4}}

x_1=\frac{a+b}{2}+\frac{a-b}{2}

x_1=\frac{a+b+a-b}{2}

x_1=\frac{2a}{2}
