Math is beautiful. Math is one among a very few number of things here we can take for true and granted. And in spite of that math with it's simplicity can show many relations between numbers and represent many forms of shapes, behaviours, etc. in real world by only a short equation or formula, it can show great complexity. It never seems to end. One can't learn it all or discover everything, mathematics is an undiscovered world. Why does for example the Fibonacci numbers and the golden ratio show up here and there in real world?
Mathematics makes it possible to make up new beautiful arts and shapes, take the mandelbrot fractal for example. Mathematics makes it possible to tell how the world behaves (physics) without even having tested it. Like the theory of relativity, it started as a theory and was then gradually discovered to be true.
