Question Anayltic geometry Q2

Find the distance between parallel lines between the given pairs
3x-y-6=0 ,3x-y-8=0

Attempt :
Using the distance formula at orgin (0,0)
d1=\frac{6}{\sqrt{10}} ,d2=\frac{8}{\sqrt{10}}
Since they are both positive
|\frac{6}{\sqrt{10}} -\frac{8}{\sqrt{10}} |=\frac{\sqrt{10}}{5}

Am I correct?
Thank you.
