I mean, if the parameters don't correspond to any physical entity how does it matter whether I say for example
pressure = 3 + 16*temperature (".....you know pressure is 16 times the temperature....")
or
pressure = 3 + 4^2*temperature (".....you know pressure is 4 squared times the temperature......." ok, so?)
