Grammar is important to me but I have nothing against people who don't use it very well. I know that English is not the primary language of many people on this site so it's fine if they don't use English "properly." My greatest pet peeve, however, is when a person's grammar is so bad I cannot understand what that person is saying. Also, like everyone else here, I hate chat-speak (with the exception of a few abbriviations, like "lol" and the occasional "OMG").
