Then,
\lim_{x\to -2} \frac{f(x)}{x} = \lim_{x\to -2} \frac{f(x)}{x^2} \cdot x = (1)(-2) = -2

Then,
\lim_{x\to -2}f(x) = \lim_{x\to -2}\frac{f(x)}{x^2} \cdot x^2 = (1)(-2)^2 = 4
