but i'm jz wondering how can we determine a constant value in a formula.

for example, if i would like to measure color harmony with the given formula,

Harmony = (a)*value of hue difference + (b)*value of chroma different

how should i further enhance this by adding in the constant a and b. what is the first step i can start with?
