I'm given that the distribution is on the interval 5, 255. If two values are sampled independently from this distribution, what is the probability that the first value is x<40 and the second value is x>20?
Can someone please help? :|
EDIT: Just realized this is a Continuous Uniform Distribution problem. I'm lost.
I'm a little confused. The support of the binomial distribution is the natural numbers less than N. Is this a heirarchical model or something (where one of the parameters comes from another distribution, which would explain where the Uniform is coming from)?
