Default Gaussian Probability Density Function

Below is a Guassian probability density function:

E ^-(x-m)² / (2s²)
e = Eulers Constant, m = sample mean, s = standard deviation


However something is apparently wrong with the above equation. I am in need of an understanding of what a Gaussian probability function actually is, and then maybe I can decipher (with your help) what is wrong the above equasion. Below is the actual question:

The integral of a probability density function must be equal to 1.
So you'll have to multiply it by a constant in order to make the integral 1.
