Red face Probability Density Function(PDF) Question

Consider the probability density function(pdf)

p(x)={3/4(1-x^2) if |x|< or = 1
0 otherwise

which random variable X follows.Find the probability that 0</=X</=1/2?


Will someone be kind enough to give me the full workings with explanation so I can study the solution for tomorrow's test.
