Default Playing Cards probability

Hello just wondering if anyone can help...

If more cards where added to a pack of 52 playing cards eg: 70 cards vs 52 cards. Does the house have more of an advantage or do the players have more advantage?

What is the game? Blackjack?

What cards are being added? For Blackjack, if the house adds aces, tens or nines, the house advantage goes down. If the house adds small cards (2s to 7s), the house advantage goes up. Here are the effects of removing specific cards from a 52-card deck on the player's advantage; this is equal to the effect of adding these cards on the house's advantage.

If whole decks are added to form an n-deck game (n = 2,4,6,8 are typical), then the house advantage goes up as decks are added.

Hi JakeD,

Thank you for your reply...much appreciated.

Sorry I didn't give you enough info!! Let's say there is a 5th suit added
eg: A 65 card deck vs a 52 card deck and the game is Carribean Stud? Would the house advantage more or the players?

Thanks Cazzy

These kinds of questions require analysis with a computer. You could try Ask the Wizard, who produced that effects of card removal graph.
