How to use the memory to save your answers?

After i calculated the answer, i pressed 2nd than the memory key.. and i came out with the calculators memory.. how do you save your answer with TI-84?

Use the "store" key: [STO->]

Let's say that you had an output of 5.4359082 and wanted to save it.

Hit the [STO->] button, and then [alpha] (any letter) and hit enter:

Then type in that letter and hit enter! It now shows you the stored value!

It make look something like this on the homescreen:

          5.4359082
Ans -> A
          5.4359082
A
          5.4359082
Note that the [STO->] key is above the [ON] button.
