Bump. Nobody? I'm completely stuck on the first one but for the second problem I said that the function is continuous on all values less than or equal to 1 because after that point (when x reaches 1) f is dependent on k.
For 2-b I said that it's differentiable from xsquared - 1 but I wasn't sure what to do about k(x-1).
