Cyberman86 is on a distinguished road
Exclamation Sketch a reasonable graph of this equation

F(x)= x^2 - 9/ x + 3

my teacher gave me this problem for review and i can't figure it out, i think it looks like a parabola facing downward or i don't know because is over x + 3.

well, F(x)=\frac{x^2-9}{x+3} = \frac{(x-3)(x+3)}{x+3} = x-3

so, it is just the line y=x-3 but with a hole at x=-3 since F(x) is not defined there..
