Default Back to school thread. What classes are you taking? What are your goals this year?

Hey everyone. I think a lot of you, including me, should already be underway with a new year/semester of studies or might be starting very soon. Let's post what courses we are taking and what we want to accomplish this year.

I'll start...

I'm finishing my undergrad degree this semester so I get to take an easy course schedule I have Anthropology I (gen ed stuff, ) , Advanced Russian Grammar, Stats II (decided I should finally start learning stats) and a Independent Study course where I'm translating Dostoevsky essays.

I am looking forward to finishing up my degree and moving onto to something new. Very excited for this semester.

Hope to hear about you guys soon,
Jameson

Into my (humpty-humphth) year in the University of Life. This year I plan to study "How to make money with maths", "How to stop procrastinating and get on with a lucrative project", "How to get someone to give you a lot of money by persuading him You're Worth It", and similar essential postgraduate courses ...

Going into my last year of my undergrad studies, whilst simultaneously applying for military intelligence. Here's my courses for the year:

Formal Logic
Set Theory
Representation Theory
Advanced Group Theory
Mathematical Biology and Ecology
Quantum Theory
History of Mathematics

Thinking of dropping a couple for easier courses, but will prob just tough it out.

I have:
Analytic Number Theory
Measure Theory
Topology
Mathematical Physics

I was planning to take, "Women's Studies" so I can make everyone in my class angry at me, but that never worked out because the class was already full. I have "free" time to take non-math classes, so that was one such class I wanted to take. Maybe next semester with my "free" time I can take a class on the philosophy of the mind since that is a subject I like very much.

I think this is a major at my university. I too have thought about taking one but I always feel like I'll fail no matter what since I'm a man.
