Default music when stranded on a desert island

Ok, the scenario is you are stranded on a desert island for 10 years, it has enough food, drink and math books to keep you happy. You are also allowed to have 10 cd's of your choice, what would they be?

Mine

1. Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon
2. Metallica - Master Of Puppets
3. Midnight Oil - Diesel & Dust
4. Biffy Clyro - Puzzle
5. Dr Dre - The Chronic
6. Stone Temple Pilots - Purple
7. Faith No More - Angel Dust
8. Megadeth - Rust in Peace
9. Jimmy Hendrix - Axis: Bold As Love
10. Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magic

Wilson...!!!

I'm gonna limit myself to one album per band otherwise half my list would just be Pink Floyd.

1. Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
2. The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
3. Jethro Tull - Stand Up
4. The Who - Who's Next
5. David Bowie - Aladdin Sane
6. Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin I
7. Kris Kristofferson - The Silver Tongued Devil And I
8. Harry Chapin - Greatest Stories Live
9. The Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers
10. Neil Young & Crazy Horse - Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere

And it's Jimi Hendrix, not Jimmy Hendrix.

I would like to query this. Blackened Sky is one of my favourite albums, and I do quite like the Biffy. However, when I heard the Puzzle singles on the radio I didn't make the connection. It was like two different bands!

Fair comment. Some of Biffy's best tunes come off Blackened Sky, for example Just Boy Joy and .Discovery.Invention are classic tunes . I would even say song for song these examples are better than anything on Puzzle but I think Puzzle shows an air of maturity in their song writing. I think as a whole album Puzzle is the strongest.

All four Biffy albums are gold, can't wait to see them in January, it will be the third time I have seen them in 3 years. There should be a Biffy thread.

My parents forced this on me when I was young, I would like to take this oppurtunity to thank them.

Oppps! Fatal mistake given I have played guitar for more than 15 years.
