I would like to query this. Blackened Sky is one of my favourite albums, and I do quite like the Biffy. However, when I heard the Puzzle singles on the radio I didn't make the connection. It was like two different bands!

Fair comment. Some of Biffy's best tunes come off Blackened Sky, for example Just Boy Joy and .Discovery.Invention are classic tunes . I would even say song for song these examples are better than anything on Puzzle but I think Puzzle shows an air of maturity in their song writing. I think as a whole album Puzzle is the strongest.

All four Biffy albums are gold, can't wait to see them in January, it will be the third time I have seen them in 3 years. There should be a Biffy thread.
