| | Spiderman vs. Superman I am getting all geared up for the new Spiderman 3 coming out this summer. I was just wanting to get you all's opinion on who would win in a fight, Superman or Spiderman?
I think that Spiderman would because of Superman's vulnerability to Krypton. Spidey's only weakness' are his irresponsibility and over-discerning nature.
WHO WOULD WIN? |

| | Personally i like spiderman more, but i'd have to say superman would win in a fight. his super strength is an unfair advantage, and i don't think spiderman would be walking around with krytonite in his pocket.
Spiderman is the best!!! |

| | Re: I was leaning towards Superman for a while, but I think everyone in the comic world underestimates the strength of Spiderman. Spidey bears the reflexes of cat, and the evolutionary danger sence that only arachnids have. I read where his web can support 120 pounds per square millimeter of cross section, while also holding 300 pounds per square inch! He also displays the smarts in Math and Chemistry which I feel at times Clark Kent lacks. |

| | as much as i hate to admit it, superman's strength surpasses spiderman's. and yes, spiderman's reflexes are good but so are superman's--plus, superman can move lightening fast, he races with the flash all the time!
spiderman is definately smarter, but in a head-on battle, superman could kill him before he uses his smarts to come up with a plan |

| | I think it's cool topic!!!
My 10 reasons why Superman is superior:
1) he can fly
2) faster then light
2) bullets can't penetrate his body
3) fire or ice can't hurt him
4) has X-ray vision
5) has lasers from eyes
6) he can disapear
7) he doesn't lie
8) has knowledge of 21 galaxies (hm, I wonder how much math is there)
9) he can spin Earth in reverse direction so that time goes back
10) he is more man then SPIDERman!!!! |

| | I'm afraid spiderman hasn't really got that much going for him relative to superman. Nothing spiderman can do will be able to affect superman. Superman, is, in a way, god. He really has no weaknesses apart from kryptonite. But yeah, spiderman+kryptonite > superman I guess.
Superman >> Spiderman
Spiderman + Krypton > Superman
Superman + Krypton < Spiderman |

Superman + Krypton < Spiderman | yeah, i kind of agree with you. but for some reason i still prefer spiderman, he seems more "real" and cool to me--but yeah, superman could kick his tail, easily.
thank goodness us fans would never have to witness such a battle, since they're not in the same universe (spiderman is in the "marvel universe" while superman's in the "dc unvierse") |

i don't think i've ever heard that before.
and yeah, i forgot that he does have the knowledge of several galaxies, plus at his...i don't remember what that place is called, that place in the artic or whereever he sees the hologram of his father, let's say his home...yeah, at his home, he can just ask a question and his father tells him the answer. how can you not be smart after having access to all that. i guess the argument as to who is smarter will not be so easy.
i think spiderman is smarter when it counts though |

Now, people can say "well, he lies that he is Superman when he is Clark Kent", but what actually is that "Superman doesn't lie" not "Clark Kent doesn't lie". |

| | Re: Superman might win the battles of DC, but he wouldn't stand a chance in the Marvel world. Even the villains of Marvel display unparalleled conformation of intellect.

So, that's another confirmation that Superman doesn't lie. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
