Default Amazon

How many of you have an Amazon wishlist? Mine is small, it is 10 items large. Hopefully it will not get larger.

I did not know they had such a feature. Because all the math books I wished for I forgot. Once I realized they had such a feature I immediately took advantage of it so that I would not need to remember.

The thing I hate about math books is that they take forever to read.

You trying to reteach yourself Harmonic Analysis? Why did you even select that area of math out of all the possibilities.

I enjoy confusing and torturing students. In other words I am a Physics teacher.

I am going to ask my parents tomorrow if I can buy that Partial Differencial Equations books on my wishlist . I am almost finished with my Complex Analysis book, so by the time it comes I would have finished.

My Review for Complex Analysis (Springer) by John Howie.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Good
1)Written with as little prerequistes as possible.
2)Author does a good job explaining the material.
3)All the excercises have solutions in the back.4
4)Not too expensive.

Bad
1)Overlooks minor mathematical details which leads to faulty proofs.
2)Because of #1 I found some errors in a few theorems.
3)Not enough excercises.

I did not read the entire () book (Conformal mapping) but I think I am in a position to give an honest review. This is a good book for self-study is you are just beginning Complex Analysis but not the best. If you want a more theoretic book this is not it.

---
Does anyone have an good books on PDE's? Before I buy this one. My college uses this one. I do not think Strauss is so good if you are new to this stuff. I plan to maybe read it after I develope some experience.

This is Mine 22th Post!!!
