| | What courses are you enrolling in? Hi all, Spring Semester is just around the corner, so I'm curious what courses those of you in school are enrolling in.
I'll go first ^_^
Calculus 2
Discrete Mathematics 2
Assembly Language
Data Structures and Algorithms (just a programming course)
It's 15 hours, but if it gets a bit hefty, then I'll drop Assembly, I worked it out with my guidance counselor to where I can do that if I need to. (Not only does she work with me like that, but she's a cutie too!!)
What about y'all?

| | I am taking 4 courses during spring. Two math and two non-math. For math I will take (probably): Set Theory and Independent Study. For non-math I am not sure yet (maybe): Science 101 and whatever (I have to look at my graduation list and then tell you). |

i wanted to take "Math Thinking", but it is an education class, and will not count towards my degree. same goes for "History of math," and "theory of numbers." and i was really interested in those classes
so, the current plan is this:
Definitely will take:
- Set Theory
- German 2
On my "maybe" list
- Physics I (the schedule is too hectic)
- Speech (i'm soo off i have to do this course. i wanted to take an exception exam)
- Science 101 (another annoying general ed requirement)
- World Humanities (yet another class i don't want to take, but have to)
i plan on doing 4-5 courses though |

Just ask them, and keep on asking them until you get you answer. |

| | I really enjoyed my speech course, it was the first time I was able to choose topics of my own. Of course, I had a fantastic instructor, who appreciated my presentations (they were really more on par with a presentation than a speech) enough to not dock me points for the various rules I broke :P
All in all, I would call it "fun" but not "relevant." But, not much of school is relevant anyway.

- maxima
Semester 4 : feb2008 to may2008

- quadratic forms & geometry
- probability and statistics (though far more probs than stats)
- astrophysics
- java programmation
All over the year :

Conclusion : 2 years without doing maths before 2007, and this year has been really interesting
