I'm Stefan from Germany. I've studied mathematics and since 9 years I'm working as IT admin, IT officer and Communication officer on cruise ships for different cruise companies. During my studies I've learned (La)TeX beside other programming languages, today I'm still interested in TeX, as you could see in my TeXblog. One of my other hobbies is photography, you could get a brief look at zwanzigknoten.de. Of course I like mathematics and I'm active in several German math forums.

I'm 52 years of age and a second year adult apprentice in boiler making and welding.

I live in Queenstown on the west coast of
Tasmania ; down the bottom of Australia
and work at Shulze Engineering near the
Mnt Lyell mine in Queenstown.

Unfortunately my maths skills are not all that flash these days but up till now I've held my own; now I'm strugling.

My name's Casey and I've been out of school for a year, but I remember I use to do math for fun during high school. I didn't join the math club or anything but sometimes I'd pick up a book and just start doing a few problems trying to grasp the material and sometimes really stick to it before I backed off to do other things.

I like math a lot but it hasn't always been fun for me. I'm here to get some help when I need it and even maybe some tips from the experts around here on studying it.

ive always enjoyed my math and studied hard through highschool doing 3unit. Now im in my 2nd year at uni doing a finance course which involves some maths, especially stats - which is great!

I hope to make some good friends here, help as much as possible and get some help with some of the things I am struggling with at my course.

I am Anna. I am in my last year of University study (finally!).Majoring in Applied Math and Statistics, considering a double major with Pure math but not sure yet.

I love math. It has been one of the only subjects that I have done with pleasure even though it can be mind boggoling at times. I get a great scence of satisfaction when i finally understand a difficult math topic.

I hope to take the Acutarial Exams next summer
