I've seen some incredible mathematical blunders . . and some spectacular brilliance, which makes it all worthwhile.

That is three years of teaching (another classical student mistake in 10th then in 12th is 12-10 =2 years, if you know what I mean). Indeed, I was entertained by some of the mistakes they make. For some reason, "canceling out of a sum" is the most common.
