so here's the thing. you need the basics. math is cummulative, you need to build on the basics if you want to tackle the hard stuff. in my experience, not doing this hurts students. for instance, most of the time a calculus student tells you they have trouble with calculus, it is actually basic algebra that is messing them up, i know, i've been a tutor at my school for a while now. and many areas of math are inter-connected like that. my suggestion to you is to polish your algebra skills, then attack precalculus and calculus. that will give you a good basis to go on to interesting things. if you want to get really crazy with it, you have to surpass calc 3, and then you can see what tickles your fancy | Quote:
