The study of geometry by representing points, lines and surface in terms
of coordinates and analysing their properties by way of the algebraic and
analytic (calculus) properties of the resulting equations and relations.

Pre-Calculus is consists of functions and analytic geometry (graphing).
Solid geometry is not really taught in American schools. The basic facts can be derived from plane geometry. I am taking a civil engineer course right (funny how I ended up there). What you really need to know are vectors. They are so important. You do not really need to know so much about functions and graphs.
