Default math sign for somthing different

I wondered the internet yesterday in order to find math signs, i didn't had much successe and for that reason i open this thread for some answers..

I need to know if there is a sign in math to something different or unusual answer or so. like the pie sign and eternity sign.

if you've got the answer please apply to my thread and i'll be thankful to see that sign too.

"Different" and "unusual" are rather vague words. Do you have something more specific in mind?

\aleph_0 Rather unusual, I think it means infinity in set theory. However you should check by looking up "aleph" in wikipedia or something...

It is the smallest infinite set.

In set theory, Georg Cantor developed a theory where infinite sets have different sizes. For example, there are more numbers in between zero and one then there are integers.*)

*)And please, do not, do not. Say there are infinitely many integers and infinitely man numbers between zero and one so it is the same.

Just like there is no such thing as a largest finite number. There is no such thing as a largest cardinal number.

In fact, I once I this site constructed a set which cannot be contained in a cardinal number. Apparently, I violated a rule in set theory which made everything that I was doing false.

For example, the "set of all sets" is not a valid set because any set must be contained in a cardinal number. But it is not.

Do you know just love math because of things like this? Just image somebody asks you what are you doing....? An engineer says 'I am trying to build a bridge'. A biologist says ' I am trying to reduce viral infection'. A physicist says 'trying to make light travel faster'. But a mathemation says 'Trying to make sets so large that they cannot be contained in anything'. It just sound so funny.
