Default mathematics symbols on forum and pc

hello

i was wondering
i have seen memebers reply to my post using proper mathematics symbols eg. like the sigma sign and intergration sign

i was wondering how can i get these symbols so that when i make future posts i can make them clear

also is there a way to get them on ms word. or are there any other programs which i can write maths using proper symbols

thanks

Word has a program called "Equation Editor" that will do Mathematics symbols for you. You may have to upload it from the disk.

As far as the forum is concerned, see the first post on this thread.

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain." - The Litany Against Fear, "Dune" by Frank Herbert
