I consider my style to be a Gaussian style. That is I solve problems mostly perfectly and formally but they can sometimes be difficult to follow. Just like Gauss.
I consider your style to be sometimes incomplete. Laplace favored that style, in the book "Celestial Mechanics". Alternativelty, you sometimes state I think I see a proof, that is the Fermat style of solving problems. Thus, it is difficult to follow.
I consider Soroban to be the simplest to follow and perfect. Lagrange was the mathemation praised for his perfect and yet simplistic solutions.
I consider topsquark to rely on his intution too much and thus it is similar to Newton's reasoning.
I consider Plato's examantions far too short to fully understand. As if he is lazy to post the full solution. Exactly what Galois did the day before he did.
You may post these on the forum so everyone can get insulted.

Hmph. If TPH thinks Newton followed his intuition too much I can only imagine what he thinks about Einstein! Frankly, though I'm not sure his comparison was entirely complimentary, I am still flattered by the analogy.

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain." - The Litany Against Fear, "Dune" by Frank Herbert
