Cheagles is on a distinguished road
Default A place to get started/warmed-up on precal?

I'm in between moving and jobs right now, but with what little time I have left not taking care of my family (siblings, not my own quite yet), I've been taking the classes I needed to get into university, specifically math.

I just finished Trig 2 days ago (with a BIG help from MHF; I might donate when I have the time), and am tackling precal next. I'm not on any formal classes yet (was on a short-term, online class, which was utter hell...), but my mind is still in math mode and I don't want to lose steam.

Problem is, I don't really have a site of the sort that can get me ready for precal when I take it. For trig and calculus I was having fun browsing wikibooks, but for precal specifically, there was no section that was structured for precal. I want to learn something new day by day for precal, where the concepts I'm learning build upon one another as opposed to being loose concepts that I explore whenever I click a different link at wikibooks.

I guess I'm just looking for a website that can get me started/warmed up/beat up for precal, in order to get ready for the actual thing. While math's not my strongest subject, I've been having fun with it lately and I don't regret the stress I felt with the online class I finished just recently.

Thanks.

I can't think of any good trig websites. I wanted to chime in though that I really think you can't underestimate the value of a good textbook. You should be able to find one used for fairly cheap and the structure of it will be of great use to you. We can't teach you a subject but we can help you when you get stuck! So my suggestion is to find a cheap but thorough text, work your way through ALL the problems and post ones you can't do.
