| | It doesn’t really matter where I’m from. I happen to be based in the United Kingdom at present, but anywhere else on Earth is the same to me. For I consider myself a citizen of the world. |

The labeled parts are the United Kingdom, dark blue part is Ireland.
Like most UK maps it seems, Shetland is either in a box on the side or just not included on it...
Thats Shetland up at the top of the map!

Showcase_22 from England and craig from Untied Kingdom | Yes, quite a big difference. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (aka, the UK) consists of 4 countries, England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. England is the largest one and contains the largest city (London), but it is only part of the UK/Britain. There is no "English" parliament, etc. |

Showcase_22 from England and craig from Untied Kingdom | United Kingdon is England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. England is...well just England.
It's unusual to have both England and United Kingdom as an option, most places have only United Kingdom. |

| | I'm from Melbourne, south east corner of mainland Australia.
It is the undisputed sporting capital of the world being the only city that holds a tennis Grand Slam and a major Grand Prix.
Other sporting events to note is the Melbourne Cup horse race that pulls 120,000+ each year, AFL grand final 100,000 each year and the Boxing day cricket test that pulls close to 400,000 people over 5 days. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Our newspapers are pretty much sporting magazines.
Historically Melbourne has also been voted the world's most liveable city and often features in the annual top 5. World's Most Livable Cities - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Melbourne boasts Australia's best resturants and is Australia's cultural hub.
Its climate is probably the most interesting feature as it often reflects 4 seasons in one day. It has a population of approx 4 Million people.

| Same here!! I was so sure that the South-West of England was divided into more counties since there's Devon and Somerset down there.
Devonshire fudge......*drools*
P.S: Have they marked London as it's own county? That's in Essex!!

Algebra is the offer made by the devil to the mathematician. The devil says: `I will give you this powerful machine, it will answer any question you like. All you need to do is give me your soul: give up geometry and you will have this marvellous machine.' —Michael Atiyah |

Counties are smaller than these (for example, the area in the extreme southwest consists of four counites – Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall). |
