Default The SAT's, huh?

What I Learned From the SATs - WSJ.com

57-year-old took the SAT last month as a challenge.

I wonder how some of the older people would do here. 800 on math section, no?

A curious article. Being Scottish, my university entrance was done using my Higher results - like A-levels, but you 5 of them over one year. I presumed all university entrance was done this way...

With respect to school being harder now, I was under the impression that everything was easier, but also more competitive. For example, my Higher maths teacher had to learn to prove why differentiation worked when he sat his higher but we merely had to learn to use it, and in his day an ordinary degree would suffice but I had to get an undergraduate masters degree thingy to be competitive. Honours isn't exceptional enough now!
