Hi

is there any application of the topologies in real life I mean topology the course in the universities for example calculus has a big application in real life for example in physics in engineering ...etc and differential equation have a lot of application to ...

The first thing I know of that comes to mind is in biochemistry and the use of knot theory to model proteins. I read that somewhere.

I'm trying to use algebraic top. to analyse digital images of the prostate to aid the treatment of cancer... or something like that...

Thanks guys I asked my question because my friend ask me what is the use of the topology curse in the life my other friend said it is for get worse degrees and failure in the curse to repeat it again ...

but I said that is not right there is application of topology in real life but I do not know for what ......

now I know some applications of it thanks

Look up Sperner's Lemma and the Fair-Rent-Division problem.

You'll probably come across one of those, and while the second may be impractical it's certainly applicable in theory.

Do some googling. Here is something I found:

Biochemistry 201: DNA Topology


When checking the prostate for cancer, I think PSA(Prostate Specific Antigen) is what is looked for. This may be where the protein modeling and topology comes in. I sure do not know anything about it, but that seems likely.
