A worthy first post, lets hope we hear more from the calculus kid, maybe he/she could solve a DE using a Laplace transform in this thread to show the ultimate love for it?

Looking back at some of the threads, I thought it was Queensbury rules here .... ( )

The title of your post is "Doesn't calculus rule?!?" By saying yes, you're saying that calculus doesn't rule. Now, if your post title was "Does calculus rule!?!", then saying yes would be saying that calculus does rule.

(Doesn't semantics rule?!? ....)

I don't know - does it rule as much as using bizarre punctuation‽

I agree, but people like us are very very rare. So, in that respect, I must ask myself, "Does calculus rule?" If you ask 100 people this question, 99 of them would say that ANY form of math sucks. Are they right? I doubt it. I think that they just don't understand that math is a language that is used to understand nature. Why would someone not want to understand why they are and from whence they have come? Because they are scared, lazy, or misguided. So, the question then becomes

Isn't being aware of nature and my responsibilities to myself and humanity as a whole, so that we my advance as a society and one day achieve eutopia awesome?

The funny part is that everyone will say yes to this, but then will never lift a finger...

So it's better to say no

How so? Everyone wants infinite happiness and bliss, no?

Even Nietzsche had an Uber Mensche.

Absolutely not, first its not possible and if it were it would be stifling to creativity among many other defects which would only become apparent later.
