Default Understanding what the teacher tells us...

Hi I am in HS and I was wondering why when teachers give us example problems and such when I do hw the number questions in the book look way different and can't figure out how to do it?

Hi xsubxwooferx. We can't really answer questions like that. But if you post specific problems that you're having trouble with, showing what progress (if any) you have been able to make on them, then we'll usually be able to offer some explanation and helpful hints.

In addition there are many ways to skin a cat and usually quite a few different ways to solve an equation
