Which of the following statements are false or true and why :

1) if 2^2 is not even then 2 is even

2) if i go to London i will buy a car

3) for all natural Nos ,n : n^2 is not even or n is even

4) if 3+1 is not 4 ,then 5+3=8

All of them except (2) are definitely true. It is not possible without further information to determine whether (2) is true or false. It should be clear why (3) is true. Do you know why (1) and (4) are also true?

What kind of information do we need to determine whether (2) is true or false?
