Default Find the perimeters and areas of the figure.

I need to find the area and perimeter for square that is 5^2?
Can anyone give me a clue on how to do it?

What exactly is 5^2 ?

That is all it gave me inside the square. See why I am confused?

If its inside the square I would assume its the area making the side length 5 and the perimeter equal to 20.
