Default Altitude of the triangle is less than or equal to?

If in a triangle of base 'a', the ratio of the other two sides is r (r < 1), then the altitude of the triangle is less than or equal to?

A) 2ar/{3(1 - r^2)}
B) ar/ (1 - r^2)
C) ar/{3( 1- r^2)}
D) ar/2(1 - r^2)
