Default Locus Theorem: (parallel lines)


The locus of points equidistant from two parallel lines, l1 and l2 , is a line parallel to both l1 and l2 and midway between them.

Can someone please explain what the above theorem mean in easy words?

All the points between lines L1 and L2 that are the same distance from L1 and L2 lie on a line. That line is parallel to L1 and L2 and is halfway between L1 and L2.
