Exclamation construction project, inscribed equilateral triangle in a circle. please help

so basically my project is on constructing a 3-dimensional octahedron.
we construct it by creating circles with a six inch diameter and an inscribed equilateral triangle in each.
there are three folds to glue together on each,
my question is how do you find the area of the inscribed triangle,
the area of the sector, and the segment?

please help with anything you know, i really appreciate it.

this is to show you what it looks like:
