Default Slope and Perimeter of a triangle

Please help me with these questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

1. Find the slope of the line through the point (2,5) that is perpendicular to the line 2x-3y+6=0.

2. The length of one of the legs of a right triangle is 3 ft. Express the perimeter, P, of the triangle in terms of the length, L, of the other leg.

1. Find the slope of the line through the point (2,5) that is perpendicular to the line 2x-3y+6=0.
Write the given equation 2x-3y+6=0, in the form of y = mx +b, where m is the slope and b is y-intercept.

Then, the slope of perpendicular line will be negative reciprocal of this slope.

The perpendicular slope =\frac{-1}{m}

Finish it.

The two sides are 3 ft and L

Find hypotenuse, h, using Pythagorean Theorem,

h^2=3^2+L^2

h=\sqrt{9+L^2}

Now write perimeter. Finish it.
