Default Posting latex equations in color

hoy you write in red? I tried but instead of red letters it appeared [colour=red]....[\colour] or something like this

You have to use the American spelling of color ...... color NOT colour.

[color=red]This is red[/color] gives This is red.

I didn't write the code... I just changed the color from the top... But i wanted to write in red into Latex so i suppose i can't because in normal text i obviously can

Also
For example red box but black formula

[math]{\color{red}\boxed{{color{black}\sin^2\theta = \frac{1-\cos 2\theta}{2}}}}[/math]

gives {\color{red}\boxed{{\color{black}\sin^2\theta  = \frac{1-\cos 2\theta}{2}}}}
