Default Howto type equations

how do you guys type equations so neatly and all of your things look the same what program are you all using

x = 0.5gt^2
ln(x) = ln(0.5gt^2)
ln(x) = ln(0.5g) + ln(t^2)
ln(x) = 2ln(t) +ln(0.5g)
a = v^2/r

they never work for me ):

OMGG it workedd!!

is there any program where i can type it out like this on my computer?

Well you know that this site is using a LaTeX addin, the users guide is at this link. If you want to use this on your own machine you will need to install a LaTeX system (you will probably not want to do that) the details of how to do so can be found on the Art of Problem Solving site.

Alternativly you could try AbiWord (with the equation editor and maths fonts installed) which uses LaTeX for its equation editor.

There is also a LaTeX addin for OpenOffice but I have not had much joy with that.

You know that this is a statement and not a question don't you?

Also I think we need more infromation about what symbol and/or squares you are refering to.
