While I am writing a document, is there a way I can view the latex before actually printing it out? I know there must be a way but print preview is just showing what I actually type out.. I've never used this before and I have to type out my research paper using this. Thanks!

Actually I don't know what I'm doing at all. I downloaded texnic center and miktex. I need to get started and can't really follow these directions I have all too well, lol...

I also don't understand what I'm supposed to do with the configuration setup wizard.

Does anyone know how to double space in pdf. I am writing a paper and would like to double space but can't figure it out. Thanks!

You mean a vertical double space? Just use \vspace{12pt}. For example:

text goes here

\vspace{12pt}
other text...

(You can increase or decrease the size of the double space, just modify those 12pts.)

Not just for a single line... but I want it to be double spaced throughout the entire text. Is there a way to do that?
