Post Mathematician Is Chosen for `Genius' Grant - Los Angeles Times

Mathematician Is Chosen for `Genius' Grant
From Los Angeles Times, CA -

The medal is often called the mathematics equivalent of the Nobel Prize. Terence Tao, 31, sometimes called the "Mozart of Math," is probably the best mathematician in the world now. Last month he received the Fields Medal. Terry will receive $500,000 over five years to use any way he pleases. All of you aspiring mathematicians out there can rest assured that not all Mathematicians spend their days as hermits living with there mother, never spending money and refusing large sums of money. If you are really good and contribute to mathematics there are grants and prizes to support a lavish lifestyle.

Google finds the story but I am not satisfied with the posts made by the bot so I want to start choosing one story (at least) daily that is interesting and read the article and summarize by a person as I have done above.
