Default Maple programming advice

Hello

I'm starting a course soon which will be focussed on writing procedures in Maple. I have some experience of using Maple as an ad-hoc calculator / symbolic manipulator, but no experience of programming it (I do have experience of programming in C/C++). The course will be focussed on simulations of chaotic systems. I'd like to get some relevant experience of programming Maple in advance so if anyone can provide links to appropriate resources on the web I would be grateful.

Thanks
LR
