See, I write simple exams, right from the homeworks.
The kids work (usually, but not always) hard for me.
My two exams this semster the medians were 73 and 83.
Hence there is no curve, 90's are A's...
BUT in your case, what is an A.
Your teacher, by making tough exams is making her/his job harder for himself.

I assign a lot of homework, but I put those problems on the exam.
I may change a few numbers, but even the english is exactly the same.
My exam are fair, so I don't need a to curve the grades.
AND the kids who do lousy know it not me its them.
