Default Mathematical induction

pls teach me qn 21(i) and qn 22(a) the hence part.

I'm always able to prove the induction but cannot do the hence part.
Please help me.Thanks alot!

Hints:

for 21(i), what happens if you replace r with (t - 2) in the given expression?

for 22(a), what happens if you replace r with (k + 3) in the given expression?
