Default Wind Speed Problem

I have a Algebra II math test tomorrow and I completely do not get this problem.

An executive flew in the corporate jet to a meeting in a city 1500 kilometers away. After traveling the same amount of time on the return flight, the pilot mentioned that they still had 300 kilometers to go. The air speed of the plane was 600 kilometers per hour. What was the average speed for the round trip?

I'll get you going:

Let j = jet speed, w = wind speed

Speed with wind : j + w
Speed against wind : j - w

1500 / (j + w) = 1200 / (j - w) ; simplify:
j = 9w

All yours to wrap up.
