write in power notation
i get the first one but stuck on second

1.)
log 5 625 =4
= 5^4 =625

2.)
log100000 =5
=?

since log x, unless otherwise specified, has a base of 10, then for log 100000=5, power notation is 10^5 = 100000

ok i c so if the base is not specified you assume it has a base of 10?

10^5 makes sense thanks
