His score is a two digit number, which can be represented as 10a+b, where a is the 10s digit and b is the 1s digit
The number with the digits reversed in therefore 10b+a, and his score minus 36 is 10a+b-36
10b+a=10a+b-36
and a+b=14
Solving this gives a=9 and b=5, therefore his score is 10(9)+5=95
