by this do you mean there are 10 B's and 4 C's

Substitute your variables.

B = 3, C = 2.

$\frac{B4 + B2 + B4 + C4}{4+2+4+4}$

$\frac{(3)4 + (3)2 + (3)4 + (2)4}{14}$

$\frac{12 + 6 + 12 + 8}{14}$

$\frac{38}{14} = 2.71429$

GPA = 2.71
