Default Someone help me with this problem Thanks!!!

Find the grade point average. Assume that the grade point values are 4.00 for an A,3.00 for a B, and so on


grades #of credit hours
B 4
B 2
B 4
C 4


What is the grade point average ?

by this do you mean there are 10 B's and 4 C's

Substitute your variables.

B = 3, C = 2.

\frac{B4 + B2 + B4 + C4}{4+2+4+4}

\frac{(3)4 + (3)2 + (3)4 + (2)4}{14}

\frac{12 + 6 + 12 + 8}{14}

\frac{38}{14} = 2.71429


GPA = 2.71
