Default Algebra help plz
There is a line
L________________O________________V

OV= 3x+4
And
LV=2

i did

3x+4=2
And soved for x

and got 2 ... seems i did something wrong.

its asking to find the x

help me plz

Some info is missing, you need to know LO unless O is the midpoint of LV

Ok since O is the midpoint OV = LO

So now we add

LO + OV = LV

Does this make sense?

I told you LO was equal to OV due to O being the midpoint.

LO + OV = LV

3x + 4 + 3x + 4 = 2

2(3x+4) = 2

2 is the not the answer, it is x = -1
